Evolve Through
Depth and Insight

Navigating life's complexities through Attachment, Schema, and Existential therapy. Discover a restorative space for transformation and intellectual growth.

Is This Practice Right for You?

This practice works best for people who are in a headspace to do the real inner work: reflecting deeply, taking accountability of themselves, and developing a clearer understanding of who they are. We shift the focus away from healing towards the concept of growth.

This May Be for You If…

  • If you are looking for a space for genuine self-reflection, deep inner work, and personal accountability.
  • A focus on growth rather than healing - moving forward rather than reliving the past.
  • A thorough understanding of your own attachment style and how it shapes your relationships.
  • An existential framework for exploring questions of meaning, purpose, and value.
  • A grounded framework for understanding how you respond to your environment.
  • Best suited to those who sense their difficulties are more intellectual than emotional.
Abel Jacob - Metamorphosis Therapy

Meet Abel

Abel is an Accredited Social Worker with the AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers), with a strong interdisciplinary background in Philosophy, Psychology, and Social Work. He holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy, postgraduate education in Psychology, and a master's degree in Social Work.

This combination shapes a thoughtful and holistic approach to therapy that integrates both deep reflection and practical support. Abel is passionate about helping people navigate the emotional and relational challenges that many experience in life.

His work draws on evidence-informed frameworks including attachment-focused therapy, schema therapy, and existential therapy. Through these approaches, he helps individuals understand how early experiences shape relationships, recognise the emotional patterns that influence daily life, and explore deeper questions of meaning, identity, and purpose.

Abel approaches his practice with humility, compassion, and genuine care, offering a supportive and collaborative space where people can make sense of their experiences, reconnect with their strengths, and move towards more secure relationships and a meaningful life.
